Embracing Southern Elegance: Black Velvet and a Boy’s Smile at Dinner Time
They usually say, ‘Black velvet and a boy’s smile, in a Southern style, Black velvet if you please.’ And I say, ‘Dinner time with Black velvet, if you please.’

Change of clothes in the office:
Today with rain, like an English summer,
Feel the velvet of my dinner jacket,
Stepping out from a weekday poster,
Wishing the evening will start,
And fade to midnight black.
I am preparing my working weekend in Stockholm with two board-related assignments and a strategy planning session, as well as a black tie event celebrating 100 years of fellowship.
What should I choose? Red tuxedo jacket in velvet with plain jacket lapels. Or a black model in velvet with detailed jacket lapels.
