I usually want to end up here after a business session together with a board or management team, with me as the host. Welcome to join.

It’s my secret garden in Fitzrovia (London), Lore of the Land. It has natural grace, and you will witness the best kitchen in an authentic British gastro pub.

The building has been a pub since 1829, but the new owner, Guy Ritchie and David Beckham, have just given it a makeover – the best of the old with the best of the new.

Time for some after-board meeting sessions. On our way to the Club Room at the Royal Automobile Club in London. Hosting an afternoon with newspapers, some tea and backgammon with the board of directors.

The Royal Automobile Club is a British private social and athletic club. It has two clubhouses. The one in London at 89 Pall Mall includes 108 bedrooms, seven banqueting rooms, three restaurants, a business centre, a full-size marble swimming pool, squash courts, a billiards room and Turkish baths.

I was heading to The East India Club, a private members club in the heart of London’s clubland. Founded in the middle of the 19th century, its original members were the servants of the East India Company and Commissioned Officers of Her Majesty’s Army and Navy.
