This endeavor will culminate in an ‘Endless Apple Festival,’ honoring the Tatin sisters, who invented Tarte Tatin and made it the signature dish of their hotel.
Sisters and brothers, it’s a privilege and with great honour that I present to you the liqueur Luxardo Maraschino.
Grown specifically in Luxardo’s cherry orchard, Marasca cherries (a variety of sour Morello cherries native to Croatia’s Dalmatia region) form the foundation of this unique liqueur. The Maraschino recipe has remained unchanged since 1821. Luxardo Maraschino is an indispensable component in a multitude of cocktails, several of them in the definitive list by IBA of the most requested recipes, used over the years by bartenders as an essential liqueur for any well-stocked bar.
