Business and pleasure – after more than six weeks of non-stop special assignments every day, I was rewarded with the opportunity to drop my keyboard and see ‘The Seventh Seal’ live.
It’s me and Woody Allen, with beliefs in ‘The Seventh Seal,’ likely one of the best movies ever. This masterpiece by Ingmar Bergman was featured in a new, rearranged production at our local theatre. As an avid fan, I was there to savor all my favorite lines:
“KNIGHT: I want knowledge, not faith, not suppositions, but knowledge. I want God to stretch out His hand towards me, reveal Himself and speak to me.
KNIGHT: I want to ask him about God. He, if anyone, must know.
KARIN: Now I can see that it’s you. Somewhere in your eyes, somewhere in your face, but hidden and frightened, is that boy who went away so many years ago.
